Peptic Ulcer is defined as the breakdown of the duodenum or stomach mucous membrane by excessive secretion of Hydrochloric acid or digestive juice.
It’s mainly three types-
1. Gastric (Stomach) Ulcer
Gastric Ulcer is defined as the ulcer formation due to intake of harmful substance such as excessive alcohol or tea or coffee.
2.Duodenum Ulcer
This ulcer is formed by prolonged fasting period due to which Vagus nerve activate the excessive Hydrochloric acid and this cause ulcer.
3. Oesophagus ulcer
This ulcer is formed by back flow of acid from our stomach to esophagus.
Cause of ulcer
1 Alcohol
2. Excessive Tea or Coffee
3 . Fasting Period
4. Emotional stress- due to emotional stress person loss of appetite.
Sign and Symptoms
1. Epigastric pain
2. Nausea
3. Vomiting
4. Weight loss
5. Heart burn
6. Dyspepsia
Complications
1. Internal excessive bleeding
2. Obstruction in G.I . Tract .
Prevention
Avoid spicy food .
Take proper rest .
Avoid fasting period.
Avoid oily food .
Take plenty of fluid .
Avoid alcohol and excessive Tea or Coffee.
Informative.🤩👍💯Is fasting a cause of ulcer? Muslims are going through a period of one month religious fasting. Will it bring such complication? What about mouth ulcers that comes in the molar regions and tounge? Is it coming in any of the category that you told? It’s almost recurring and common as far as I experienced.

Muslim are take a something during morning period and then in evening period then their body requirements are complete but some body don’t take food for 2 to 3 days and at that time don’t take anything . So they face .and for mouth or tongue ulcer most common is Tobacco, Cigrate , or don’t maintain hygiene of a mouth which also lead to several disease like Gingivitis , Cheilosis ,and other so much .
